Welcome to the new home of the OOC chatter post, in our brand new community dedicated to all of your OOC shitposting needs! We're going to start off very rules and moderation lite and see how things go.

1) You can post and comment here with any journal you own, i.e. CDJs, character journals from any game, etc. You don't need to join the comm in order to comment, but you can if you want.

2) We will do our best to continue putting up new chatter posts here whenever the old ones get close to filling up.

3) If for whatever reason, you'd like to make a new post in campers, you can!

And also: Please put a subject line in your comments to help people sort through conversations!

The Butter Statue at the State Fair this year is A Christmas Story but the moody lighting gives it a despairing Donny Darko feel that really embodies what it means to live in Central Ohio.

One of the "big" events at the Ohio State Fair is that they do statues made of butter. There's always a cow (with upsettingly veiny udders) and then a themed thing. Usually it's OSU-themed football/brutus buckeye shit. This year it's A Christmas Story. A couple of years ago it was the ISS and it was a guy made of butter floating while eating a stick of butter which is still maybe the funniest thing ever.

Yeah I'm not sure why they picked that. I didn't realize that's what they were going for at first and so when I walked into the exhibit that year I was like wow they're really uhhh taking butter art in a cool new direction I guess
