OOC CHATTER POST #14
Welcome to the new home of the OOC chatter post, in our brand new community dedicated to all of your OOC shitposting needs! We're going to start off very rules and moderation lite and see how things go.
1) You can post and comment here with any journal you own, i.e. CDJs, character journals from any game, etc. You don't need to join the comm in order to comment, but you can if you want.
2) We will do our best to continue putting up new chatter posts here whenever the old ones get close to filling up.

my concept thus far is a dude who fronts a high school rock band, and sold his soul to the devil (or a thus far unspecified demon) in order to attain fame and glory. in exchange, the demon is able to channel satanic messages through the band's music. my character won battle of the bands and thinks he's hot shit but now he's forced to seduce innocent souls into liking his music
part of the infernal's backstory requires him to be indebted to three other people and so i came up with a couple of plot hooks if someone wants them? the third string i will probably give to... the dark power that he serves, oops
the occult helper is someone who aided my dumbshit character in figuring out how to summon a demon who'd take his soul. it might be that you had the supernatural knowhow to point him in the right direction, or maybe you helped him out in the school library, and maybe you also went with him to, like, a barren field and helped him draw salt circles and light candles and chant in latin, and you witnessed him sell his soul in exchange for fame. you would be one of two characters who know that my character made an infernal deal.
the band member (maybe an ex-band member?) is an old friend who was his songwriting partner and arguably the more talented of the duo. the lennon to his mccartney, if you will. you put in a lot of damn work for this band, but somehow my character became the frontman and the "cute" one and the only band member that apparently anyone wants to call up or talk to, for no discernible reason at all??? he's just gotten stupidly, inexplicably lucky and it's a little grating that you and the rest of the band have become functionally his backup dancers
WOULD ANYONE BE INTERESTED IN HAVING THEIR CHARACTER FILL ONE OF THESE? :O you'd get a string from my character for it
